Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, this week release directed by Karan Johar and having Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchanin the lead role.
What is the story?
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is a love story between Ayan (Ranbir Kapoor) and Alizeh (Anushka Sharma).
Ayan and Alizeh both are close friends in the movie. One incident in which Ayan got ditched by his girlfriend (Lisa) and in the other case Alizeh by Faisal (a friend of Alizeh).
Ayan and Alizeh started spending time with each other till the date when Alizeh found her ex (Fawad Khan, Ali) back in her life.
The relationship between Ayan and Alizeh lasted no more because of Ali's presence.
In the scene where Alizeh invited Ayan to come on her wedding and Ayan expressed his feelings that he is in love with Alizeh but that day, Ayan made his 2nd break-up successful.
After the interval, Aishwariya (Saba) entered into the life of Ayan and they both started liking each other. Point to be noticed is that Saba is also a divorcee. Ayan-Saba relationship continues till the date when Alizeh comes back in Ayan's life.
And once again, Ayan realized that his true love is Alizeh and he went once again back to her. But there he realized that this relationship is no longer possible so he opted to continue his passion of "Singing" without Saba or even Alizeh.
After few months, Ayan found that Alizeh is living alone because she got divorced with Ali.
He went back to Alizeh and came to know that she is on the 5th stage of Cancer so they both started living with each other and in the end they live happily ever after.
What's wrong with this movie?
For me, this is an over-complicated movie! Instead of making the story simple and deliverable with a powerful impact, Karan Johar was found repeating the incidences again and again.
Even if you watch Ae Dil Hai Mushkil with full concentration then also you will not know that what Director is trying to convey you. Thanks to Ranbir Kapoor for letting everyone know in the end that what this movie tries to convey.
This is definitely a messed up story between LOVE and FRIENDSHIP.
Ayan and Lisa - BREAKUP - Ayan and Alizeh - BREAKUP - Ayan and Saba - BREAKUP - Ayan and Alizeh.
But in the end, Alizeh is still not in love with Ayan but now they are close friends!
The movie was less in content and as well as script. Kudos to director for stretching it for 2 hours and 37 minutes.
I am not denying that movie is not good but this drawbacks could have been eliminated.
Overall the movie is quite good, give it a try! :D

Reminiscing their old shoot days with limited technology, Shatrughan and Amitabh shared that the actors would do their own stunts. They have, apparently, jumped off cliffs and buildings, done cartwheels and tumbles to pull off their own action sequences.
There was no concept of stunt men and body doubles and the actors were supposed to fight the villains and goons on their own. Rather unlike today, even the safety measures were limited and there were no harnesses and cushioned pads. In the process, both the actors have got punched in the face and faced severe injuries.
On being prodded by host Sajid Khan as to why did they not refuse to do some of these risky stunts, Amitabh replied, ‘We could not. It was the fear of being thrown out of the movie that made us do all the daredevil stunts’! Shatrughan went onto recount an incident where while shooting for a sequence in front of hundreds of onlookers, he flung up a dafli and after some 200 flips mid-air, it landed straight on his head with a massive thud.
However, as the hero’s image is one of a rugged man, he pretended to be completely nonchalant about it in front of the audience but within seconds went running inside, asking for an ice pack!

At the shoot of the Grand Premiere, the legendary duo made a grand entry on the show to their own iconic song ‘Salaamat rahe dostana humara’, sending the studio audience into a frenzy. Host Sajid Khan expressed his nervousness at the prospect of interviewing the duo to which Shatrughan jokingly replied with his trademark style ‘Khamosh’, leaving the audience in splits!

It's a story based on the life of 3 ladies. Lajjo, Rani and Bijli. They all are close friends and struggling at the same time. 'Lajjo' is known to have a sterile (infertile) body and as a result she is unable to bear a child till date. At the same time, 'Rani' is also married and is having a son named "'Gulab' yet she is a widow. 'Bijli' works in a Dance Company and was referred to as a Prostitute.
The movie Parched is about the difficulties these women face in their life and how their individual efforts contributed in the Happy Ending.
Moreover, the triumph of good over evil was also delivered as a message.
What is so unique about this movie?
Parched movie depicts a typical rural life where "Dowry" is still in practice, men usually beats his wife everyday, no access to Television and the only source of entertainment is one Dance Company.
Village where Panchayat Raj is still in practice.
Though most of the scenes of Parched were linked to nudity. Story of the movie is recent because of two reasons:
Rani used to have a conversation with one guy who usually refer himself as Shahrukh Khan and the ringtone of Rani's phone was "Bidi Jalai Le" as the song is not that old :P
Story:
The movie starts with Lajjo and Rani visit to a neighbourhood village to fix the marriage of Rani's son "Gulab". Lajjo, Rani and Bijli all are childhood friends.
Lajjo husband Manoj used to beat her everyday and was an alcohol addict.
Kishan, the most educated person in the village works for some embroidery company. Most of the women of the village work in the craft team owned by Kishan and he pays all of them.
Kishan is married to one north eastern girl named Naobi who was seen as a foreigner in the small village.
Bijli is beautiful and fair among all the three ladies. She works in a Dance Company and as a prostitute at the same time. Having clients everyday and the competition from a new girl in the Dance Company was the only matter of concern for her.
After the marriage of Gulab, the story took a drastic change. Janaki, the wife of Gulab, was seen as a negative character as Rani mother-in-law died because of Janaki presence in the house.
And this happened because of the short hair of Janaki and even Rani came to know about this on the day of marriage.
Gulab started drinking because of this dilemma and he rarely come to house anymore.
On the other hand, one thought of Bijli that Lajjo might be fertile as there can be a problem in Lajjo's husband named Manoj and hence the blame is shifting on to Lajjo.
So, Lajjo decided to have a sex with an unknown person (Bijli's friend) and she became pregnant. The entire fault was in Lajjo's husband as he was the sterile.
This is not the end, Rani life grew worse as her son left her one day and the debt to pay the loan was increasing day by day. So she sold the house and made her son's wife live happily with another child.
On the day of Dussehra, because of the fight between Lajjo and her husband, Manoj dress caught fire and the entire house burnt into ashes.
Bijli who was also unhappy with her life and decided to flew off with rest of the friends. Now they are all living happily like never before.
Win of good over evil as they all have freed themselves from the atrocities.
Songs
Either you name it "Baisaa" or "Mai Re Mai" both are mesmerising tracks.
The songs reflect the tradition that is still prevailing in the Rural Area of India.
My Verdict
PARCHED movie is definitely a nice movie to watch. The story can be somehow related to women empowerment. Three stories and how they fight in each of them. Win of Good over Evil is also highlighted.
Few nude scenes of Radhika Apte and Surveen Chawla can affect the movie but overall it's a good movie.
Watch only if you like SLO-MO movies that are made only with a focus to highlight something, particularly a message to be given to the society.
Today I'm gonna share those five reasons that why you should not miss the movie Pink.
Without going into the detail of star and cast, let me tell you that what is so special about this movie.
1) The Story
The story is based on the real life incident that can happen in anyone's life, Pink movie is about the three girls and one accident that changed their life drastically.
On a Sunday Night, three leading ladies Minal Arora (Taapsee Pannu), Falak Ali (Kirti Kulhari) and Andrea (Andrea Tariang) were out for a Rock Show.
It was followed by a meet with Rajveer Singh (Angad Bedi) and friends. Just because of the dressing sense or "Hints" (described as per the movie) given by the girls, Rajveer forced Minal to participate in the sexual act.
Then what's wrong with this? Both are matured enough to make such decisions on their own but as described by Minal that in the heat of the moment, she doesn't even know that what went wrong and she attacked Rajveer with a bottle of beer.
That's what created the whole chaos.
From beginning till the end, the movie is based on this story and believe the chain of events that takes place in the movie are worth exploring.
Starting from the stage where Minal and friends were hiding themselves in the room so that Rajveer friends should not reach their home and take the revenge.
Amitabh Bachchan's role as a lawyer, Deepak Sehgal, who was constantly keeping an eye on these girls and the day when Police allegedly took Minal in front of the society, forced BIG B to help these girls out.
After that, all the court-room conversations against the three girls and how they manage to fight with such a bravery.
2) "Pink" Comparison with the Real Life
The movie clearly is a comparison to what is happening in real life as well.
You make comments, you take good looking girls for granted, stare at them or those dirty chats.
If a girl is out for late night party, that doesn't mean that she is having loose character.
One accident in which the girl was forced to participate in that sexual activity and just because she rejected it with a response (hitting the bottle) and that totally shattered her life.
For teens, it is definitely an inspirational movie.
Amitabh Bachchan describes few rules in the second half of the movie according to which a girl should not be judged.
And those Rules are something that everyone should take care of no matter how tough the circumstances are.
3) Society's Viewpoint
There was a scene in the movie where all the girls decided to not let this issue out.
No Police FIR's, no discussion with someone else etc.
Even I was there, I would have taken the same stand just to not let my image down or what the society will think of me.
But Rajveer friends forced these girls to take the help of Police.
But the way they managed to fight against every odd that was on the way, is what I really appreciate.
One should adopt the same manner, without thinking of the Society's viewpoint.
4) Deepak Sehgal (Amitabh) as a Messenger of God.
In the movie, you will see BIG B fighting for the girls in court-room.
He was shown as if he is too old but a sudden realization served as an eye opener for him and that made him realize that helping those girls is the demand of the hour.
Comparing it with the real life also, even if one doesn't have any Messenger like Deepak Sehgal then also you should be positive and take the stand.
When you know that it was not your mistake and you can justify yourself, then no matter how low the opposite side can reach for but you should be positive and stand for the right.
5) "NO MEANS NO".
The main and the ultimate conclusion of Pink movie.
No Means No. If a girl says No, then you should stop.
It doesn't matter that how she is dressed, how much she drank, what is her past history or whether she is interested in any sort of sexual activity or not.
You will find many other eye opening messages in the movie.
For me, this is a perfect movie to watch out for, no matter you watch it with family or friends.
RATING of PINK movie is something that I really can't do.
You should watch PINK and inculcate the learning in your personal as well as professional life.
I hope that PINK will be able to change the thinking of our society.

Two big releases of this week: Freaky Ali and Baar Baar Dekho.
Without going in their respective collection, you can watch Freaky Ali if you are looking forward to a comedy movie.

Though Baar Baar Dekho is performing well on Box Office doesn't mean that it is a super hit, the reviews are more in the favour of Freaky Ali. We just gave you an underline of both the movies without going into detail of the star cast and greater depth reviews. Or else what you can watch is last week Sonakshi Sinha release "Akira". The plot of this movie is good and you are going to have a good time.
